and considering getting a pair of mavic ellipse.
do i have some other better option for this mount of money?

小弟是新手, 不過騎上去覺得有點怪, 有點不實在的感覺
像那些出租單車, 好似好輕好化學

用airwalk fixie練習skid時會不會特別難等

I'm planning a new activity for every friday night such as our Shatin Slow Ride(SSR), seems SSR is not satisfy or timing issue for some of peoples who living in Kowloon side, so here with another ideas for Kowloon riders.

Now "SSR" is a locational definition, for Kowloon Safe Ride is "KSR", every month first Friday is "SSR" and next Friday is "KSR" biweekly.

If any ideas please let me know.

ps. Clarify something on the schedule. This biweekly idea will start on September, so this month is pre-ride month.
And 20-Aug is a rehearsal on the Kowloon route.

Budget for a new bike..

As some of you may know, my bike is quite talented in trouble...
I am actually planning to save money for a new bike.
But before starting, I need to know how much should I about to save up with. So here we are..

I am not really rich so I cant afford a super expensive bike like 4-5k...
besides, I am quite violet to my bike according to my fds said...
It is hard to make a budget without information like the level of me... maybe I will tell what I can do and what I am trying / looking forward to learn.

I knew :
Skid : Overbar , other pedal side skid (I still dont know how to name it.)
Trackstand : no-hand,
learning :
Wheelie, backcycle, no-hand skid, endo
LF :
barspin, keo etc.etc.

Maybe I am looking for a advanced trick bike actually..
The other thing is, my wheelset is well actually, what i really need to change is the frame+fork, BB and headset.
Will that be cheaper if I get these instead of a whole bike?

Well... can you briefly suggest some ideas that I can "reborn" my bike?
eg what brand of frame is good enough for me so far,
What should I get? From who? And more importantly, cost..

Quite messy here, maybe hard to understand and read.

Whitehead Velodrome [pics]

So we popped over to the Whitehead Velodrome in New Territories...
Way nicer surface than the Fotan one BUT smaller too...
The corners seem way too close to each other so if you sprint too fast, you can get dizzy by hitting the corners too many times and the straights are not long enough...

Here are some photos I took with my film camera...

Oh and the location is behind the Whitehead golf shooting range...
We just had to go inside past the guard who told us that the velodrome didn't exist... BUT it does exist and I suggest just tell them you just wanna go inside or say your friends are BBQ at the back...

Hello everybody I'm looking for a specific style of tire for air and stunt. Does anyone know where I can find some 700cc x 28 tire in Hong Kong. I don't want to order online. They need to have as little tread as possible so they don't rip when skidding.

Replacing rear tire (help!!)

Hi guys, I am new to fixed gear and only ride for a month. My rear tire is flat, I would like ask some questions:

1) Will a normal bike shop (non-fixed gear shop) know how to replace a new tire for fixed gear bike?

2) Should I buy my own tire first and bring it to the shop to get it replaced?

3) or should I go buy some tools and do it myself? (I have no tools now)

4) how much will each case cost?

Sorry guys looks like a lot of questions huh? but I really have no idea.... so thanks for all your help.
